I’ve been using these for years and they are some of the best quality ink pens you can get on the market. Smooth consistent lines and long-lasting ink. And they come in every increment of size including the tiniest that can’t be found elsewhere and it’s nice that you can get this value pack of variety of sizes. I use for ink drawings and for writing in the inside of greeting cards. Excellent deal. Will buy again.I have bought over $250 worth of pens, trying all of them out on different types of paper. This was the last on my list to try, and I wish I had bought it sooner. These are the best pens, by far. I have carpal tunnel, but I'm also a note-taker in college. So I have to hold my pens oddly, and I need them to run smoothly without me pressing hard at all on the page. They obviously can't bleed and must dry quickly as well. Lastly, since I hold pens between my pointer and middle fingers, they have to feel nicely in my hand and have a balanced weight. The Pigma Micron is the only pen that fits all my needs. I got the assorted pack originally and found that I really like 03 (05 and 02 are pretty good too), so I bought a whole pack of 03.I had tried a Dr. Grip pen by pilot, which does feel alright held normally, but the ink "skips" and I have to write harder than my hand can handle. Love that pen... If I didn't have to write so softly. The second best pens, btw, were the Muji pens, and I use those for colors in my notes, as needed. So buy this. This is the one. You need it.I love Sakura pens but they can be a little testy. I think beginners would do well to order a cheap set for $7-8 and work with them for a while first. But for the professional pen & ink artist, no introduction is necessary. This is the 3rd time I had to buy them because I use them so much I love these pens they are smooth and don’t rip the paper the paper even when layering a lotI love these pens for art work because they absolutely do not feather or bleed when you use them with watercolor paint. I wish, however, that the company would not include the thicker tips in this assortment and instead package two each of the thinner tips. I might also mention that I also use the colored Pigma pens, but the RED IS TOO ORANGE. AND THE GREEN IS TOO LIGHT. THE COMPANY NEEDS TO IMPROVE THE COLORED INKS…I bought these for my husband who does lots of penwork and needs different tip sizes. These were great for writing, documents and art.I am a professional photographer. These work great on my photos printed on glossy photo paper. I print my images with margins, and sign/date/number them in the margins. These pens work great. No smearing after about 30 seconds. I didn't try after 10 seconds - 30 was plenty. But I'm guessing they're dry after only a few seconds. These pens are about as good as my technical illustration pens, and I don't have to refill them! The lines are sharp and crisp and the variation of pen widths give you options. All of us found periodically (in my case within the first hours of use!) that either the pen nib dried out very quickly whilst in use or that the nib became damaged easily. The ink is also NOT Fade proof and does not work very well on top of pencil coloured sections. If it were only my pens that experienced this, I would of put it down to just bad luck. But several people experiencing the same issue with pens they bought at different times, from different merchants?I have had these pens for a while now and I'm still enjoying using them. I use them for my very detailed art work, I have other fineliners but these are my go to pens. These pen are good quality but as the are so fine they need to be used carefully (don't press down too hard!) Especially the 005 pen, treat them with respect and they will deliver. These fine liners are great for if you use copic markers as they don't smudge when you go over it with copic markers.I have tried a number of pigment fine liner pens before these but they have always smudged whenever my copics went anywhere near them. These Sakura pigment pens don't have that problem so I would highly recommend them is you use copics.Had to wait a while for these to arrive but are worth the wait. Bought to use for my zentangle obsession. I had read a lot of recommendations for these pens so thought i'd give them a go. I've only just started using them but they are great. Very smothered drawing action and the tips are nice and firm. Good range of sizes from very thin, 002 to thicker 08. Thought i wouldn't use the very thin one much but i have found it useful for very thin lines and tiny circles. I'm very pleased with these pens and would recommend them to anyone who loves drawing.
